The end?

SOURCE: ImageChef.com

We are slowly saying goodbye to our work with the blog. One more thing to do.

I gave you an exercise to do in the workbook, remember? But your results were not that good. That's why we are going to help each other now.

Each of you is going to do the example / examples marked on your worksheets and post it as a comment.  We will correct them together so all of you are going to have a full set of correct examples.

So, let's start.

Remember your worksheet?

It's time to do our TASK 5. Translate your three sentences and write them as a comment to this post. You can do one by one or all of them together.

Don't forget how we use countable, uncountable and plural nouns.

Hello, my dear students!

Today I am taking you on a journey through the English nouns. You will follow some of my steps on this blog as a comment, and some of them on the worksheets you have in front of you.

So, are you ready?

Watch the following clip on nouns and as a comment to this post answer the following question:
What is (1) the difference between concrete and abstract nouns and (2) the difference between common and proper nouns?

SOURCE: www.youtube.com

PS: If it is easier for you, you can answer my question in Slovene.

TASK 1

If you have managed to answer my question, the next task won't be that difficult.
I'm sure you remember we talked about putting nouns into the plural. Let's revise that a little bit ...

Now let's check your knowledge. Here you can find an exercise on plural nouns.

As a comment to this post, write which were the two most difficult words and where you probably made mistakes.

Good luck 🍀
TASK 2

Your next task deals with the difference between countable and uncountable nouns.

In this quiz you are going to find out, how well you know them and what is still difficult for you.

As a comment to this post write a similar example to the ones in the quiz. Don't give the solution yet.

For example: My bus comes at five and now it's quarter to five, so I still have ____________ time to read my book.

PS: a little 💪👍
TASK 3

Look at the examples your schoolmates have sent in the comment to the previous task.

Please solve each other's examples in the following pairs:

Jernej ↭ Tim

Minea ↭ Pia

Nina ↭ Nika

Alina ↭ Sara

Urban ↭ Nejc

Domen ↭ David

Write the solution to the example as an answer to the comment.

🌟🌟I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT.🌟🌟
TASK 4

In our lessons we also talked about plural only nouns. Do you still remember?

Here is a short exercise on countable, uncountable and plural nouns. Write your score (the number of your correct answers) as a comment to this post.

PS: Think ... before you click 😉
TASK 5

There is an exercise on your worksheets containing three sentences in Slovene. All three sentences deal with countable, uncountable and plural nouns, usually containing at least one exception or a "specialty" of English.

Translate the sentences and write them as a comment to this post.

And don't forget ...

TASK 6

One more to go and you are finished.

You have made it so far so let me first congratulate you. I'm sure, your knowledge is good and will keep improving with time and exercise.

In this last task I ask you to read the translations of your schoolmates from the previous task and praise them or correct them as an answer to their comments.
